Embonas, Ataviros, Agios Isidoros, Kritinia, Siana, Monolithos, Mandriko and Kamiros Skala) on the Eastern side of Rhodes. Rhodos highest mountain Attaviros is located here. The most important village of the municipality is Embonas.

The village of Monolithos is located south-west of the City of Rhodes and proposes various accommodations, cafes, taverns and restaurants. From this congenial village, visitors can walk about 2 kilometres to reach the beautiful 15th century castle of Monolithos, built by the Knights on a top of a rock; the view from this spot is breathtaking and rewards the climbing to the top. Inside this castle is a lovely single-aisled church dedicated to Saint Panteleimon. Also worth a visit is the picturesque cove at Fourni, where pine-trees, golden sands and caves are creating a magical scenery.

This picturesque village is the highest village of Rhodes, south of the capital of the island, at an altitude of 850 metres. The high location of the village has kept it almost untouched by tourism and completely unspoiled; some of its inhabitants still wear local costume and all are keeping the local customs and tradition, passing from a generation to another. Fine multi-coloured embroideries are produced in Embonas and are part
of the village's traditions. Almost all the houses of the village are excellent examples of the traditional architecture of Rhodes and are kept in good condition. A few rooms for rent can be found in picturesque Embonas as well as traditional cafes and taverns serving mouth-watering specialities.

The village of Siana is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of Mount Akramitis, south of the City of Rhodes and north-east of the village of Monolithos. From there, visitors can enjoy a superb view over the coast of Rhodes and the little neighbouring islands. Accommodations, cafes and taverns can be found. The village of Siana is famous for its excellent honey and its local wine which must be tried. Very close are the villages of Monolithos, Fournoi, Glyfada.
At last, from the litlle port of Kamiros Skala leave the little boats for the island of Chalki.
